A rental-data tool for NSW tenants: it shows what comparable properties actually rent for. These are visual-direction candidates, not final page layouts — each renders the same required scenarios with real June 2026 bond-lodgement data. View at phone width first.
Two versions of each.Round 2 is the judged finalist. Round 3 is the approachability experiment from reviewer feedback: it adds an "entry view" — one number and one plain sentence first, with quartiles, charts and history each behind a labelled step — and plain-word-first labels throughout. Same data, same rules; what changed is the sequencing.
C1 — ABS statistical release
Signature: the graduated instrument — the dollar scale's ticks coarsen as the sample thins; no sample, no graduation.
Signature: the footnote apparatus — every statistic closes in a ruled note bar opening to its full provenance record. Round 3 opens with a "reader's guide".
Signature: the ruled accounting footing — no number can be set without a footing; totals close over a double rule. Round 3: every opened step arrives already footed.
